| | | Glare, Reflections, and Shadows… No Longer Detection Problems
Machine vision users often face detection problems caused by reflection, glare, uneven surfaces, lighting variations, and color/hue differences. New cameras and tools in the
KEYENCE CV-5000 Vision System offer solutions to these problems with high-resolution cameras and reliable detection on a range of surfaces and materials. Real-time shade correction removes lighting and background variations. Multi-lamp lighting control, pattern search and edge detection tools enable detection of subtle deformations on simple/complex shapes.

| | Vision Components introduces a new member of the VC BoardCam family: the cost-efficient VCSBC4012
nano, which features a CMOS sensor with a 5 megapixel resolution. With its exceptionally small dimensions of only 40 x 65 mm, it is almost certainly the smallest vision system in the world. The VCSBC4012 nano is a redesigned version of the small VCSBC4012 single board camera, which has a 40 x 120 mm footprint. By populating both sides of the board, Vision Components has managed to develop a Smart Camera which is even smaller than its predecessor.
Like all VC products, the VCSBC4012 nano is a complete machine vision system on a single board which is suitable for stand-alone operation. As a result, external PCs are no longer necessary. Because of its tiny size, the VCSBC4012 nano is ideal for applications where space is at a premium. |
